You can kinda see in my sig pic - I have mine a little forward which makes them higher.
I really like the look and I like the ride, but I have noticed that it forces me to ride more forward than I really like and the wind hits me right square in the chest/head with the windshield off.
Speaking of which - I gotta get new pics of the bike... its so much prettier without the windshield.
great looking bike.. i'm on a 10' 48 but the fat bob has me thinking.... how do you like the bike?
So far, I'm really loving it! Especially now with the apes. The handling is what sold me on it. Take one for a ride...
I originally went in looking at Sportsters and changed my mind to wanting a big twin, because I knew I'd be wanting to go on long rides. For me, once I took a few bikes out to ride, it came down between the Street Bob and Fat Bob, with the FB winning out. I'm partial to the forward set controls, anyway.
johnny, bike looks really sharp man. IMO, apes are the best way to go when touring or over all for that matter. I have been debating between 16" and 14" for a few years now. Your pics and discriptions have me sold on the 14", I am the same height, so now I know how they would look and where in relation to me they would sit.
