What kind of scoot they going on?
I like a lot of freedom performance pipes. I don't have them but I've seen and heard a few different sets. The throwbacks look pretty cool on certain bikes but I haven't heard them in person.
I had the throwbacks on my bike up until yesterday. They performed flawlessly and look great (I painted the wrap on mine black). You can see them in my sig pic and I have lots of pics within my various threads.
I did find them to be very loud, I used the quiet baffle which made the sound deeper. I think the sound is nicer than the short shots and maybe a little less loud. If you look through my started posts for "supermeg in the house" on page 6 is a link to my YouTube video of the final start up with them.
Again I was perfectly happy with the performance and loved the appearance of them, you don't see them everywhere. Just my old man ears getting in the way.
Yep. But after my last re-pack with a bit of steel wool vs. the original small fiberglass sheet. The quiet baffles only reduce db's by 2 or so. Does make the tone a bit deeper.
