Hey, im looking at a dyna for a friend of mine. It's a 2004 lowrider for $6800. It has 52,000 miles on it. Im not so worried about the price, that can be worked on. And if it were for me, I wouldnt worry about the miles. But since its for a friend, and their first dyna im concerned about what issues are common with that year and what problems could come up with those miles.
Make sure you tell your friend to be patient. I know ppl tell buyers this all the time but it's the truth. There is always a better deal around the corner it seems.
I looked at a newer lowrider before I bought my bob. Had like 10k miles and lots of cool extras pipes, a/c, seat, floorboards, etc.. And he ended up letting it go for like 7500. Was a good deal and there are others out there If you're willing to wait and look around.
That's all the advice I have is be patient and do your research. I don't know much about common problems with them but you'll get good responses shortly I'm sure of it. Goodluck brotherman
By the way I love the late model lowriders. They sweet
Yea, i knew about the cam chain tensioners. Will ask about that for sure. Good looking out on checking the motor mount. Found out its the fuel injected one. Im guessing it doesnt have the o2 sensors. That matter much?
