Default New Street Bob
Hey guys, new first time Harley owner here. I just bought a new Street Bob and got a 2 up seat for it today. Do I need any kind of buffer or pad between the seat and the portion of the fender that used to be exposed but will now be covered by the passenger portion of the seat?

Default New Street Bob
Congrats! I would put down some clear paint protection film if it were me. Some people don't care that much about paint, I'm over the top concerned about the finish off paint on my bike.

Like clear contact paper? I'm pretty **** with paint too, and I don't want the fender getting messed up, I'd still like the option of putting the solo seat back on

Use 3M clear vinyl, like the kind they use for clear bras on cars or when people "wrap" their cars.
