Im looking to get new handlebars, I need something that sits a little farther back then what I got, but im not sure of the look that i want yet...just no ape hangers. I tried looking online, but all the pics I see are of just the bars, or with them on the bike, with no model number, so everyone post your pictures and tell me what bars you got. You would be doing me a huge favor! Thanks
I was in the same boat you are and this past weekend I found what works for me. I like the look of the Apes, but dam not comfortable so whatI came up with is I got a set of 4" pullback risers from a local shop for 35.00 then went to Harley Stealer and bought a set of Reduced reach bars for $50.00. I hid the wires in the new bars (they were drilled to do this already) so removed tank and did it with removing the Duestch clips. Took about 2 hrs (by the way do not just fill up and then remove tank ha ha I did). After all it is great. Moved the bars back and almost as high as the apes (if you set them up there). Overall look is clean and really not bad, but ALOT more comfortable. Just an idea for you.
Good luck.
