Wow, so just put the bearing on the old cam and just tap it in? If that winds up being my only option I may have to try it. If you have any tips or advice please share.

Pretty much. Just go slow and tap it in real easy with a light mallet or dead blow hammer. I ground the end down a little so it wouldn't hit the flywheel before the bearing was completely seated.

Thanks for the offer bro. I did get the bearings seated.. Used the old cam to get them as far as I could, but had to use an impact socket in combination with the driver to get them the rest of the way. The tool from Heartland still came in somewhat handy since when the driver touches the case you know you are at the right depth.

However, I am requesting a refund from Heartland; I would understand if I did something wrong and messed it up, but I followed the directions exactly.

If they give me a refund great, if not, ehhhh, whatever......

Where are you? I'm in Oxnard, and you're welcome to borrow my bearing installer.

Im in San Diego brother; thank you very much for the offer, but I did get the bearings in.

Better news is that Heartland is going to let me return the tool and refund me.
