Been contemplating getting a 2015 Dyna Low as a step-up from my 2012 1200C Sporty. Going to hang on to my Sporty since it's my first bike etc.
Haven't drove a Dyna yet but from just comparing the specs on both rides, Sporty vs Dyna, weight wise not a big difference. Ride & performance wise I'm looking what to expect.
Harley has 1% going till end of August so if I bite it will be during that time frame.
I was in your place about a year ago ... Riding a 2013 1200C. All I did was take the low rider out for test ride ... Promptly rode it home and haven't felt the need to look for anything else since. Just a better ride in most every way.
That said ... Can't really go wrong with either!
I just bought a 2015 Low Rider, and kept my 07 1200C. They are a lit different rides, the Sportster is much more nimble, a ball to ride. The Low Rider is much better with the boss on back, softer ride, lower rpms, nice low end power. and six gears are nice.
Smart move keeping the Sporty, you won't regret it. They are a lot more different than the numbers show and both are GREAT!! And both NEED a stage 1 and cams to bring out their best!!

OP, based on your name, you appear to be a member of the USAF. Harley has a special pricing promo for military members. Check with your local dealer for details. We're talking thousands here...
I had a '09 1200 Sporty Low for three years & enjoyed the heck out of. But it was time to go for one of my bucket list items and traded it on a '15 FXDL. Despite the things I did the Sporty to get it run smoother and be more comfortable it didn't compare to the Low Rider. All I had to do to make it perfect was remove the seat spacer and tweak the handle bar adjustment. Its a pleasure to ride.
