What dat is?
Sure it has been asked before but....I got my DK Customs 587 air cleaner today, while removing the stock football and filter I found a red and green wire pair with a rubber cover on it clipped to the inside of the original air cleaner box. Obviously it serves no purpose on my particular wide glide since it has a plug cover but what was its intended purpose? I just tie wrapped it out of sight. By the way the new bobber cover looks great and DK Customs fab job on the back plate was spot on. Delivery was 3 days from when I ordered it. They rock!

Finally an answer to a question that I wondered about and never asked. I have changed over 4 Dyna's to SE breathers since 2010 and always wondered what it was. Just taped it to the back of the SE back plate.

Its really the connector for a special part during a stage six build and Flux Capacitor upgrade. The Quasi Nuclear Phase Dipthrom Retarder connects to it.
