Viton may be the answer
recently I replaced the stock inner (leaking) fuel lines, with the 30R10 fuel proof from gates. And I chose to use SS safety wire to secure the connections. All is well, though it it was an expensive and difficult job due to the 30R10 line being so much larger and more stiff than the stock corrugated plastic lines.
Viton line may be a better solution, and much cheaper @ ~$10 for 2-1/2 feet. It is chemical and fuel proof, and appears to be much less mass than 30R10, or closer to the dimensions of the stock lines. BTW, I used 3/8" I.D. 30R10 when repairing my bike.
