Default Speedometer (Instruments) fuse keeps blowing

2008 Fatbob, installed my 107 & transmission about 1000 miles ago. Went for a ride last week and my speedo/tach quit working. The 15 amp fuse was blown, cleaned fuse contacts, checked wiring and so far can't seem to find any stressed or chafed wires. Replaced the fuse and the tach will work at idle but the speedo & tach quits, fuse seems to blow within minutes of starting to ride. What next, change the VSS or speedo/tach itself? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
B

Agreed. You have a short to ground somewhere. Unplug one thing at a time to locate it.
