intake caps stuck

intake caps stuck
having trouble getting these shiny caps off near my intake infant of the carb.
the caps are flat and flush with the rest of the surface so they're almost impossible to grip.
anyone know any tricks? I'm trying to access the bolts under the shiny caps.
