FXDB Death wobble cured
The wobble would only kick in at 80 mph and beyond and only when going straight and started at about 30,000 miles. Scary **** cause most of the riding I do is in a pack or lane splitting in the SF bay area. I thought the issue was the front end so i tightened all the spokes inspected the axles, neck bearings. Also installed the following:
High performance fork seals
heavy duty fork oil
progressive fork springs
San Diego Customs fork brace
Pirrelli night dragons (front and rear)
brake rotor
and removed the tank lift.
Still did nothing for the wobble. Was going to start tearing apart the rear end but decided to try replacing the front motor mount. An old timer that was tailing a few of us in a chase vehicle said its the back wheel and its probably tied to the front motor mount cause the swing arm was not attached to the frame like the FXR's. Gotta love the Old timer's.
Installed a Vibra Technics front motor mount and took her for a spin. after no wobble at 80, 90, 100,...... I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. I recommend this product, worth every penny.

fouled the crash bar's right side mounting flange and I
had to modify the bar's mount to get clearance.
I've been thinking of either a Spruthe or this for my
next bike.
BTW; I never experienced the Death Wobble in a straight
line, only when corning in fast curves.
