it's a lot less labor to change the back sprocket, it's a good idea though, if you like cruising 75-80mph it will lower your rpms by about 200 for a smoother quieter ride. do some reading & make sure you won't have to change your belt too.

I believe two teeth in either direction will require a belt change. Get the steel sprocket, my aluminum was gone in 15 k and had a big lip that made the belt squeal, that's what made me investigate, then change from a33 to the 34. I got away not changing the belt with the 33 but had to change belt with the 34
