Not sure if all the years are the same but my 2003 FLHTCI is addressed with a 1/4" 12 point socket.

Yes a 12 point socket. Not something everyone has just laying around.

Wow, is this ever timely!

I am just getting ready to install Lyndall's on my 2013 Street Bob and was pondering that rear pin size when I hit this thread. Saved me a lot of time.

I don't have a 1/4" 12-point socket, though. I went to two Home Depots, an Ace, an Advanced Auto Parts and a Sears looking for one and no dice.

Luckily, I do have an offset box wrench that size, but I wanted the socket so I could get the torque juuuuuust right.

I'll do the job and tighten the pin by hand, order the socket online then torque it when it comes in.

As usual, this board prevented me a headache.

Edit: And, a third Home Depot last night. Nope.

My closest Menards is in Ohio. Maybe I'll hop on the bike for a 600 mile round trip
