Hi all just looking for some advice on an issue im experiencing with my 2014 street bob ,been noticing when i am attempting to downshift to second and pull in the clutch the front end of the bike will shake or vibrate .Hope its not something major ,the bike only has 4000 mi.
Presuming for the moment you are properly rev-match downshifting my first though with decel shuddering is the front isolator, they are most certainly a wear item and depending on how stressed the rubber isolator was when it was installed they can fail quickly. My '13 was purchased new off the floor in '14 and one of the very first things I needed to do was replace the isolator, it had been installed under stress and collapsed, I had all sorts of odd vibrations and decel shuddering, when I removed the isolator bolts the rubber pulled back from the frame a fair amount. I needed to shim out the mount 1/4" and perform the vehicle/engine alignment but when it was done all the vibrations and shuddering were gone, as of this time the mount is showing no distortion or collapsing. Had I simply installed the new isolator without aligning and shimming the rubber would have again been under stress setting it up for another failure.
There is an HD Service Bulletin out there from May of '12 regarding the mount, their solution was to cut the collapsed rubber away, doing it right seems the better option to me so I did it myself

TCC may have solved his issues by way of shimming ( a common method discussed many times here) but what he describes... and of which seems to match your diagnosis.. is probably the case.
I would as TCC recommends start at the front motor mount and attempt to determine as if to whether it is the culprit.. As for me.. my Dyna had other squirrely acting tendencies after I got it, that I was able to remedy with a predator front isolator mount.
