What a diffence!.
I had to replace the stator on my
02 wg. Went with the 45 amp.complete system. Made a check ride and it seems to have picked up a few ponies. All I can attribute it to is that perhaps the new rotor may be lighter and let's it get its Rs quicker, couple with a bit extra poop for the coil/plugs, but anyway, happy to be back on Ruby. I do believe the old gal will make it to 200k. instructions said when finished it should put out between 14.4 and 14.6. 14.5 was the best I could get--- on the road again

In process of replacing mine.. if the darn thing would just get here. I'm sure the extra juice helped the coils put out the voltage their supposed to... a good flame front is necessary for good combustion/power... etc.
Glad to hear your back on two.

I have the correct tools, so the process was straight forward and pretty easy, it took me a couple hrs. The hardest part was fishing the main wire from the volt reg, to the main circuit breaker, that goes under the tank to the fuse panel. The rest was a piece of cake.
