cool? I don't feel the heat unless I sit at a really longlight.

Don't touch em. They do get hot.

Your stock machine will more than likely be hotter.

Factory sends them out really lean.

I'm runnin the SERT, so I am enrichened considerably.

Keep your shoe off the wrap. Burnt mine on the first day.

clamps? T Bar type Dixon TBC250. I put one extra wrap at the very end.

You don't need a clamp at the end you begin with. Wrap TIGHT.

Soak for a few minutes before you begin the procedure.

Some guys wrap from the exhaust end back to the head.

Then you can tuck the clamp up kinda outta sight,
or safety wire instead of clamping.

Have you wrapped pipes before?? If not, ask an experiencedfriend to help out.
