I installed a new predator motor mount about two weeks ago and since I have had nothing but bad vibes in the pegs and bars, I have checked everything several times with my install. There is no contact with the frame. Can't get any answer from the company to see if maybe new mount could be bad. What to do ???? Help
The Predator mount will change when and where you feel the vibration through the bike, I've noticed that I "feel" a vibration at around 80 MPH and then it goes away and I can take it up to 125/130 and not "feel" it again.
I also feel different minor vibrations at different times throughout the RPM range from time to time.
The Predator does not and is not intended to completely eliminate vibration, it reduces it and more importantly it stabilizes the drive train in the frame to eliminate the squirrely feel during high speed cornering and through the sweepers.
seems to be a constant buzz in bars and pegs Went for a short ride yesterday about 10 miles and my hands went numb. I checked side link and it moves freeley.
When you put the new mount in I Harley recommend going through the alignment procedure or at least loosening the rear mount bolts and running the motor for five seconds to wiggle everything into a happy setting then tighten stuff.
