Default Rim conversion
Anybody convert an older, steel-drop center, side valve rim, to a center valve rim?

Having a hell of a time finding tubes for an older rim I want to lace up on wide-glide hub for a current project. Thinking about having the existing tube hole closed up and drill a center valve hole for a steel, threaded valve.

Thoughts?

I switched my street bob wheels out to Softail 16" rims and harley carries the side valve tubes-not sure what size your looking for?

I laced a 16x3 to my street bob front hub. I got the tube from HD.

Cool.. thanks guys. As a side note, I'm dropping both front and rear to 16" laced rims. I'll check the MoCo for tubes.
