If you're open to the idea of a brighter light, but not a 5.75...
I bought the LED plug-in from DK Customs. Super-bright, shipping was quick and it was plug-in-play.
I have a video of it on YouTube.
Why not a 5.75"? Just looked at them. They're just bulbs for semi-sealed housings which would require me to buy that type of housing plus the bulb and I'd be still using the 5.75" headlight bucket that I have.
I bought the Sunpie off of C list for $94.00 yesterday , I'll let you know my thoughts in a week .
Looking for a pic on a dark road of this exact light as well. Any takers? lol. I've seen these lights but people seem to take a picture looking at the light. That doesn't do anything for a comparison other than how it blinds a camera...

What's your youtube link? I'll check it out.

My thought was why pay for the housing when you don't need to?
I have a 7'' Truck Lite led on my Street Glide that I would put on my Low Rider if it wasn't for the screwing around with different brackets etc. Best $165.00 I spent !
Guess I was mistaken. I could have sworn the OEM lights were sealed housings/bulbs not semi sealed housing and can replace just the bulb. Thats good news tho. Thanks for sharing the video. FYI, the housing on your bike is 5.75" diameter if you didnt replace the bucket and housing.
I was worried about it not having a Hi Beam. How does it do not having a Hi Beam? I've been told that you just aim it where you want and it's way brighter than an H4 bulb hi beam anyways.
I think it works really well for not having a high beam. My brother and I went to Sturgis and rode at night quite a bit on the way up and I lead with my head light and his Roadglide with the stock duals on high couldn't even come close to this thing. It doesn't bother me not having a high beam. This light throws a pretty wide pattern so it fills up both road ditches. Mines also going through a H-D style quarter fairing with the lens cover but I doubt it makes any difference. If you want a great light at a low cost this would be the one. If you want one with high beam theres a company called J and M speakers I believe and they have a headlight that looks identical to the Daymaker. I've even read that they might be the company that makes them for Harley.
Quit being cheap and just buy the daymaker. You bought a HD, not a jap bike. Now you want to customize said bike with a bunch of cheap knock offs? Go buy a honda shadow if you want a knock off, or nut up and spend the money for the daymaker(or the jw speaker, same thing.). Got mine from kutter for $320 and believe what you want, but it is brighter than ALL my buddies cheap knock offs, so much so that 3 of them trashed the eBay junk and bought the HD....

Thats funny being that $60 headlight out shunned the daymaker as was just stated. Ive talked to Octane Lighting directly and i believe it. They have a stout guarantee... And dont kid yourself. Your precious JW Speaker/Daymakers are made over seas. "Nutting up" has nothing to do with it. Funds arent a problem buddy. Pics of my **** speak for itself. Trying to find a good product is the goal here. Ive already found driving lights that SHAME everything listed here. Just a matter of wanting to run a replacement lesser bright much cleaner looking headlight upgrade or running the driving lights that out performs everything under the sun. I do A LOT of night riding so I'm exploring all my options before i buy anything. Jap bike... Pleeeaassee lol.
I like my "OPT7 Motorcycle LED Bulb - Clear 6K Cool White - 40w 3,500Lm CREE." Very white and bright, good coverage with the faceted glass lens I have. Not sure how it compares to Daymaker but a big improvement over anything else I've tried, including a 95/100w. Bought it for $55 from Amazon.
What model bike? Any issues with the bulb fitting in the bucket.
