You can pull it as an assembly, the threads on the bolt on the main shaft are left hand thread so make sure you turn them the correct way.
Take the bolt off of the compensator (right hand thread) and then off of the main shaft, unbolt the primary chain adjuster and then remove the whole mess together.

So remove the adjust stud in the middle of the clutch and then remove the snap ring and the small metal plate and the clutch hub bolt is behind that correct? And I don't need a special tool?

Just back the stud off to relieve the pressure on it, remove the snap ring, then use a deep socket to remove the man shaft bolt (Left hand thread) and remove the compensator bolt and the adjuster shoe bolt and slip it all out as a unit.

DO NOT....Use a air ratchet on the bolts, Use a breaker to remove them and a torque wrench to re-install them.
Loctite on both bolts when you put them back on (I use red) and make sure everything is "hospital" clean.

No special tools required....You will need some kind of wedge block to keep the primary from turning while you loose and while you tighten the compensator and main shaft bolts.

I'll get the torque specs for you from my manual and post them in a few minutes....You'll need a torque wrench that can torque right and left hand threads.
