Paulie, it's really a simple matter of what's called "cross check".
An easy example would be to search for an aftermarket seat for your bike by any of the popular manufacturers,, jot down the model number.
Then look for a seat from the same maker for the other bike,, look at the model number.
Do they match?

I wouldnt expect much of anything from a dealer except getting overcharged. Ditto on all seats on Dynas 06 and newer being interchangeable.

Look on e-bay for used Dyna seats. You can usually find a new take off that someone is looking to sell to offset the cost of a new aftermarket seat. I running a early model Low Rider seat on a 2010 Fat Bob that came off e-bay for 50 bucks.
