Default winter performance upgrade recommendations
I moved from a Honda nighthawk s to a 2010 fxdwg, looking to increase performance and cornering ability on very limited budget. I am a master truck and car wrencher but new to v-twins. thanks

High flow air cleaner (if you don't have one already), cams and a good tune, the big radius pipes can actually make decent power.

T-Man 555 Torquesters would be another good cam choice.

Cams can wake it up after Stg 1; last 3 sets we've used were S&S E-Z starts. No need for comp releases then, but if you plan on big bore (103) you'll use different pistons & cams than 96 inch.

Sputhe Engineering or Tru-Trak engine stabilizers, and a front fork brace.

Not sure how much past a 90 you can go with a wideglide rim, but I'd try a 100 instead.

As for budget... get the manual, and do a vehicle alignment... I swear I don't think that is done when they put these bikes together the first time.
