Question Help confirming risers diameter

I thought risers were either 1" or 1 1/4" thick. Mine seem to be 1 1/8"... Am I measuring it incorrectly or would this simple be considered 1"? I'm using stock sportster bars if that matters.

The reason I want to know is I'm ordering a clutch cable clamp to mount on my risers, and then hold my gauges.

Thanks for the help guys.

Handlebars are 1" or 1 1/4". I don't believe there's any standardization on risers except where they meet the bars. Sounds like yours would be considered 1 1/8".

If the bars fit the risers correctly, no big gaps when thightened, and the hand controls fit correctly then 1 inch should work.
easy way to check, remove clutch perch put back together without being on the bars then measure the circle. You need to check different parts of the bar to make sure it's uniform.

I'm PCing the triple trees and a laundry list of other parts, the risers diameter are surly 1 1/8. But I'm wondering if that is considered 1" or 1 1/4"? It's smack dab in the middle so I'm not sure if they run thinner or thicker. Like I mentioned, it's simply so I can order these clamps.
