No, but wasn't hard to wire. It's an old 3 wire tach. Power, ground and signal. Power ran to accessories fuse, ground to frame, signal from pin 3 on ECU.
Hmmm how do i find pin 3 on ecu?
i might grab an old road king tach from ebay if this is possible.. i love having a tachometer.. dont know why
I have one and it works well for basic small stuff. I also have a pistol pocket. The SDC bag looks way better and goes with the bike well while the pistol pocket is really basic and kinda boring, but it can hold more stuff. Also the SDC has waterproof zippers which is nice.

Do you have a link for a similar tach/mount? It looks like exactly what I've been looking for.
I was thinking about getting this bag but I'm not sure it'll work on my bars. I think it would but those who have it I'd appreciate your input. I was looking at this one as well. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/adven...ed-storage-bag
Thank-you!
I have a cell phone mount on the lower crossbar currently. But think the bag would be able to mount above that crossbar, but I'm wondering if the bag would want to slide down from the top...if that makes sense at all.
It shouldn't slide on your bars as long as the straps are done up tight it's not really big enough to have any real weight in it. The top straps are 6 inches apart to loop around the bars and the bottom straps are 3-3/4" for the risers. I have that Moto pocket bag although it's on my mountain bike now though, I wanted a little more storage space.
Was looking at that bag, looks very nice. I ended up grabbing this military bag which is very similar. Like it a lot so far, able to fit a decent amount of stuff. Most I've tried so far at once a rolled up tshirt, pack of cigarettes, phone, wallet, little bag with registration in it. Also can fit a 16oz water or soda bottle pretty easily with a bit of extra room which is cool when it's hot.

The straps on the back of the bag fit right around my risers ( 8in straight 1" diameter ) and clip on with a button on each. If you wanted to attach it to the bars on top and risers on the bottom like the SDC bag you could just get a few velcro strips and loop them through the existing straps or just use cable ties.
