I wouldn't even take a second look at that bike; there's plenty out there, you just have to be patient and keep searching...maybe expand your search radius, too. I drove 1000 miles one-way in winter for my FXDXT and it was worth it.

Seems like a decent price for a decent bike if the history checks out, but if you specifically want a FXDX I'd keep looking. Looks like most of the powder coated pieces on the motor were replaced boxes, cam cover, battery cover, etc. I assume same story on the primary side, looks like the guy preferred chrome. As everyone else mentioned, wrong front end. No big deal but I personally like the look of the 2003 anniversary badges on the tank would be cool to have them even if you wanted to take them off later. You'd have to put in some work and money to get what it seems like you want out of the bike.
