2500 & BigDog - I'm starting to look into replacing the shocks now so that I can get that lowered look/stance (I prefer to sit "in" the bike instead of "on" it) - but am trying to figure out which rear shock setup to go with so that it provides that stance/look, and won't rub a tire or cause fender to hit belt guard, etc if/when it bottoms out.
Any suggestions? We really don't care much about the actual ride comfort when it comes to bumps in the road and all that. I'm reading up on Burly's, Progressive's, etc - but, as with removing the lowering blocks & switching to the stock shocks - I want to be 100% sure I won't ever rub tire to fender or fender to anything else . . .

I would do Burly Slammers. They ride better than stock with just me on the bike. I don't carry a passenger very often so I am not sure how that will be...
