Those Fox Shocks came standard on FXR2, FXR3, and FXR4. They were also available through the HD "Parts and Accessories" Catalog back in the day.

That photo from Artlee looks to be a factory manual for a FXR2

The photo was from the service manual for 1999 FXR, covering the FXR2 & 3*.
And you are correct multihdrdr, those shocks came standard on the FXR4, but I can't budge mine by hand, as you are supposed to be able to do. I have different shocks on my FXR4 anyway, though I kept the stock Fox shocks.

*This is the main manual for the 2000 FXR4 too, with a thin supplemental manual available, covering the differences between the FXR2,3 and 4.

So you should be able to turn them by hand? I didn't think any HD came with Fox shocks.

Same issue I had, but thought I was missing something. Solved the problem though...bought Ohlins.
