Default '15 Dyna frame diameter?

I want to install a breather catch can and am thinking about mounting it to the frame, so I'll need to order a p-clamp. Anyone know the diameter of the frame?

The down tubes are about 1.5" diameter. I say about because I used my wife's measuring tape with a little metal tab on the end of the tape so could be slightly inaccurate. Use a piece of string or masking tape for exact, measure around (circumference) and divide by pi (3.14). This measurement is off an '07 Dyna frame.

Measure with a caliper to get the exact width.

On my '010 FB, the front downtubes are 1.5" in dia, the lower frame rails 1.25" in dia, but as mentioned you should measure yours for certainty. If you don't have a caliper measuring tool, use an adj wrench and measure the jaw opening. Hope that helps.

Good call on the wrench. I'll confirm with that.

Just use your 24" Jumbo Aluminum caliper that you purchased to install your shocks. They are accurate enough to do the job you want to do. They are a nice $10 investment.
