LED Lighting
I cannot afford the HD Day maker, so I was hoping an LED replacement bulb would be better than stock and longer lasting.
As well does anyone recommend the Kuryakyn 7749 LED Halo 5 3/4 trim ring for 2013 Dyna? And is it hard to install? Or is there a better brand anyone knows of that fits the 2013 Dyna FXDB? From what I understand my light is 5 3/4. I would like to find a 5 3/4 LED trim ring in black, if there out there. *This I don't need, but I kind of like if its not hard to install myself.
Any helpful advice appreciated, please let me know if it's not worth spending money on either one? My stock bulb hasn't gone out yet thankfully, but I want to be prepared.
Please send me some web links, thanks.

Both make fine LED headlights. I believe the Daymaker is mfg by JW Speaker.
Personally, I would be leery of doing a retrofit bulb in a closed housing like ours. Nowhere for the heat to go. Heat dissipation is a huge issue with lighting-class LEDs. Depending on the diode arrangement and relationship to lens/reflector, the beam may also be far from ideal. I don't have personal experience with LED retrofit headlights, but I've done a few projects with ground-up design for LED fixtures. LEDs radiate light much different than incandescent so the optics and mounting specs are completely different. A QUALITY retrofit would take this into account, but I can't speak to which is good and which is junk.
Might check with the Jeep forum guys, too. I'm thinking the Wranglers use the same headlight as us and those off-road guys like LIGHT.
If you're just looking for more usable light, you may want to look into quality H4 reflector/lens assemblies that fit our housings. I'm not immediately familiar with the beam patterns used in Motorcycles, but I would look into Hella and/or Cibie for possible candidates.
