The key switch started going bad, so I ended up having to hotwire the damn thing with a regular 2 way switch in a pinch...I bought a Drag Specialties new style replacement but I have no idea where to put it since my tank console was not made for that...any suggestions?
Got all my stuff to do gas filter and sock change, new screws gasket and while I'm there I might as well do this mod, I hate the stock switch .

I just want to move mine to the dash so I don't have to fish out the key every time. Sometimes I'm standing right next to my bike so I don't need to "lock it".

I just leave the key in it most of the time....Been doing that since the 80's.
I actually like the toggle switch idea, I might do that instead of a key on the FXR that I'm building right now.
