Just a lot heavier. But be sure to lean back as far as you can, that seems to be the key for me.
Had about an hour to goof off today. Tried a dozen times or more. *** end kept braking loose leaving about a 6ft strip of rubber. It's been pretty chilly lately, and today only got to mid 50s. Thinking I'm either not getting far enough back in the saddle, or the pavement/tire is too cold. Also tried rolling along at around 15-25 mph and dropping the clutch. That got the same result I've always had...she just launches without pulling the front end up.

Don't just dump the clutch, try to slip it instead and kind of ease it out. You have to find the sweet spot, just keep messing around and you'll start to get it. Also 15-25 is too fast, gotta start slow. Likke literally 5 mph, or leaving a stop sign or stoplight.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping we have good weather next weekend. I'll have more time than I did today, and will mess around with clutch control more vs just dumping it.

Pretty common issues to have when starting out. Too slow spins the tire, too fast just takes off. There's a sweet spot in between there, the less power the bike has the smaller the sweet spot is. Also as you're finding it's definitely harder to hook it up on cold roads, but can be done, maybe try letting a little air out of the tire. Definitely helps to transfer your weight back in the seat as you snap the clutch to get some weight to the tire, especially for lighter guys. Also can mess with rear shock settings, too stiff won't allow compression and weight transfer, too soft can compress too fast then quickly rebound and unload rear tire and spin.
