Rear fender replacement advice...

'05 FXD:

Rear fender was stupidly bobbed short by previous owner, I need a full rear fender on the cheap...I saw a couple of eBay for Dynas of different years, checked the Ronnie's catalog and though they look the same in pictures, the part numbers are different...am I gonna get fitment issues if I buy a used fender from a different year Dyna? Say, 2004 down?

I think 04-05 were different than all other years

Yeah, they are. I just want to know if other years will fit between the struts.

Put ya one off a Switchback ! But one off a 05 Low Rider would look & fit better.
Get ya a JP Cycle catalog !

Thanks for the advice. From what I've read, the only difference between those fenders is the positioning of the mounting holes. If drilling is all it takes to make it fit, then it shouldn't be a problem for me.
