Default tranny trouble?

I have a 03 fxdwg when the bike is off and it's in gear I lull the clutch in and I can't roll or start the bike but when it's running the clutch is fine . Checked all the adjustments and still have the problem

It's not a problem, it should be that tight.
Use Neutral when you want to move the bike without the engine running.

Has it always been like that or is this something new? Did you just check the adjustment or actually adjust the clutch itself, not just the cable?

Mine is the same way. When cold the plates bind up. Pretty normal

When cold, a wet clutch will usually hang up and drag a bit until the oil is up to temp.

Dude, it's ust the way this type of clutch mechanism is designed to work, it needs to be in motion to fully actuate/release.
I guess I don't understand the problem because I've always found it easier to move any bike in neutral and just naturally done that.

I have a 2015 FXDB that has the same behavior. Got to put it in neutral cold.
