These are being made and sold by the same company that makes the daymaker for Harley, I was told that, so don't flip out on me. Could be wrong. Either way, Very happy with it so far and have ridden about 100miles at night since I installed it. I like that you can use the stock bezel ring and it doesn't hang out like the trucklite does. I had to use my dremel to cut and sand, about a 20min job, so the light would fit in the bucket. Harley does sell a bucket and ring but for of course almost $100. It does plug right into the stock harness. They do sell a 5 3/4" for the other dynas. This was on my Switchback and Harley charges $499 for there 7"daymaker.
Long story short...I bought an LED headlight from through Amazon and when it arrived I installed it. It didn't work correctly as only the park type lights worked on low beam and both the low and high beam worked on high.
I got a discount price on an HD led which I installed and it does work as advertised.
The parts guy said if you buy a Harley LED headlight, you only cry once and that's when you pay for it. If you buy an after market brand, you get to cry more than once. So far he was right.
Looks good! I think they also make them in a 5.75. Hows the high beam on it? I had a HD daymaker on my old sporty. Loved the high beam on it as it through the light down the road but hated the blind spots in turns on the low beam end. Do you have pics with the light at night?
