Getting an small Bluetooth amp for Christmas and two 5.25" speakers. I'm thinking of making a mount that bolts to the top tree on top and on bottom (as shown in the crappy drawing). I don't see the whole setup weight a lot, is this ok/safe to do as long it's well secured? Maybe a higher grade bolt?
I used highway peg clamps and clamped them to my handle bars. I just had to make a little L-bracket to mount speaker to clamp. It only cost me 20.00 and you can move them up or down your handlebars, I mount mine by my handlebar mount my buddy mounts his in front of his hand grips and has them hanging down not standing ontop of the bar if you understand what I am taking about, I have also seen them mounted to engine guards.
