I want to install a quick detatch sissy bar, but I need to relocate the rear turn signals. Can you post some pictures of how you relocated your signals? I was goning to ditch the rear signals and just run an integrated tail light, but I dont want to get hasseled by the man....thanks.
I can post some when I get home. There are two was of doing it. One kit leaves the signal lights where they are and the docking ports go between the signal light mount and the fender and the other kit like I have moves them back with the taillight.
I just found a pic on my phone that shows it but not that well.
I have the relocation kit installed when i,took deliver of my bike. Ill,take some pics for you. They pretty much stay in the same place but I spaced out a little bit for the detachable sissy bar
For reference these are on a 2015 Street Bob. They look great in person in the sissy bar pops right on there for when I take the wife out. But usually I just leave it off so it's nice and clean looking
It's simple, Please, don't cut the wires. Remove the taillight, the left and right turn signals plug-in behind the lense.
Un-plug them and the wire with the connector will feed through the hole in the fender and strut,
The signals are held in place with a long bolt inside the fender,, you'll need a 1/2" wrench and a comfy place to sit for awhile.
