Handlebars, I'm used to clip-ons (bars below the top of the tank) so the buckhorns are a little to high for me.

you may want to guve those higher bars a chance... much easier on the back and easier to ride in general in my opinion. the lower the bars the harder on the back.. then again just myopinion after 30 plus years of riding . [sm=pimp.gif]

I've put about 300 miles on it so far and I just don't like the angle of my wrist's with the buckhorn bars, so it's not just the height. I'm going to try 01-05 FXDL bars, only $35 from Zanotti's. If they're lower then I like I can experiment with risers, but I like the bend of those.

I've heard some thinking the cycle shak slipons too quiet. You may want to listen to a set before installing (if you can return them). The V&H, Reinhardt or other slipons may be more to your liking - with a single look at your old bike, you're not a guy who likes quiet and mild...
