Default 2 tech questions: engine light and lense removal

2 tech questions:
Picked up bike Friday fresh from 1000 mile service and a Dyno tune...
engine light came on today and stayed on... just like my old ford...

figured I mention it, you guys might already know why....

second question...I'm desperate to do a mod myself...thought I change the blinkers all to a smoke lenses and amber bulbs...how do you remove the old amber lenses?

thanks in advance.

cant help you with the engine light, but the lenses are cake. there is a recess on the lens that you can fit a flat head screw driver in. just pop them out. then just snap in the new ones.

If you plan on DIY get a manual and of course search this forum for tips and tricks. I have found a plenty of great information.

Enjoy...

I would go to the dealer for the check engine light. If I remember you can hold the reset button for the Odometer when you turn the switch on and it will display the codes. I had the list somewhere but it may have changed for the 07's. And since I changed computers I can't find half my files. The lenses are easy like they said they just pop out.
