I'm looking for a low profile two up seat for a 2015 FXDB. I am currently running a Le Pera Bare bones, and I like how it drops my seating position low, and further back from my bars. I know I could get the optional passenger pad, but I'd rather go with a full seat. Any suggestions for minimal two ups?
I had a Mustang on my Bob. It was super comfy and looked pretty cool. Wasn't exactly "low profile" but wasn't goofy looking either. In my experience low profile and comfortable are two separate things and Im not sure there is a seat that fits into both categories.
Thanks, I've read good things about Mustang seats. As for comfort, I'm surprised by the comfort of the bare bones. I wouldn't want to do any touring with it, but I've put 300+ in one shot with my bare bones. Stopped for gas once through the whole trip. That all said, minimal with some comfort would be nice.
Check out www.sicksaddles.com he makes badass custom seats for dyna's for around the same price as you will pay for an off the shelf seat. I have had mine for 2yrs and the best seat I have ever owned, and I have had many over the years.
Are you looking to keep the passenger section low profile as well or do you want it to sit up higher so you have some back support?
I like the overall shape of the Le Pera Daytona seat, but it looks like the padding on it will push me too far forward. I believe C&C fastback has the same style, but also will push me forward.

If you want to sit back on the seat or move around much, you might want to look at the Cobra. The Daytona and similar seats with the kick in the back for passengers really don't push you forward, but if you're sitting on the back side of your Bare Bones, it will at least feel like it.
Here's a picture of my LePera Daytona Two-Up. The back may not be as "low profile" as you like, but the lines still flow well with the bike and my girlfriend reports a high level of comfort back there...
Although she did say that she sometimes misses the level of vibration that made it through the stock FXDX seat...
