Okay, so mine comes in in a couple weeks. I guess Northern California is furthest from the mother ship... Funny too considering that we are Dyna central...
Anyway, so my big question is how smooth is the motor at speed? I had a Switchback that I literally dumped to get away from the rediculous vibes after giving up on the clevis pin mod.
Thanks, for the pics, Speedy! I'm sure others are thinking they would like to go with a different fairing for the S as well.
The anticipation is kinda fun, Norty! This model at this price point is worth getting excited about. I haven't been this psyched about a motorcycle since I got my first Dyna Glide back in '95.

didnt get great pics, need more light... will try and see if I can take a few in dailylight if I get home from work early enough. I flashed a light in behind the fairing and didn't see any electronics back there. Looks like a few bolts (allan key) and it'll come off pretty easily. I think the back of the screen could open up (just infront of the risers) and maybe the space could be used for something (maybe a small glove box?)
Low Rider S Fairing
Strange I went to the dealer yesterday and they just got back from a test ride in Carson and they said there where electronics behind the fairing? That is one of the things keeping me away from it...the stock fairing is well ugly...I'm sure it will be an easy fix but they could have done better than that thing.

Ive heard the same from a dealer but I can't see what it could be, At any rate I don't think it would look good without a fairing as the brackets will still be there but if you were putting another fairing on they'd be covered up. I didn't see any wires running into it unless it's something for the US market? Mine is a Canadian bike

It felt good to me, didn't notice anything more than my 08 fxdc..
Good to hear that some of you have already been delivered! It means that mine is not far... Ordered early February and expected in 2 or 3 weeks (in Paris)
I ve asked to the dealer to remove the catalyzer and install the daymaker I've got previously on my ex XR 1200. I've also asked to flash in stage one.
Can't wait!
