I just bought mine! Went through the Military Auto Source. I highly recommend it to anyone deployed or overseas. I got mine for $16,200 out the door! Of course it helps that I'm having it shipped to Alaska (tax free). Can't wait to get back and pick this sexy thing up!
I have mixed feelings about this bike. I bought a '15 FXDWG last September because I didn't think the HO 103 was worthwhile since I was planning to upgrade the cam anyway. There's a part of me that thinks I might have held out for this bike had I known then.
But the things I really like about it are the 110 and the gold wheels. The damn color scheme though being all black is just too much for me personally. Sure you can swap out stuff for chrome, but it's not even worth it because of cost.
Screw Harley for not having this as a '16 model with the rest of the bikes since I would have at least had the option of considering it lol.
I hope all the guys with deposits down enjoy the bike when they get it in!
I've got a deposit on one, trading in my 08 FXDC. Did ok on the deal I think... helped that I had been talking to the dealer for the last couple months on my next bike and i moved quickly when I saw it at the bike show a few weeks ago. One of Harley's new District Sales managers in Canada was a store manager I had been dealing with and when I ran into him at the show he grabbed me to show it to me as it's pretty much exactly what I had told him I was looking for in the perfect dyna for me... in a sense Harley read my mind... I suppose I do also fit the demographic they are targeting so it makes sense that I like it. Supposedly the dealer get's mine in next week.
Tat2Dale, thanks for the headsup on the bike review from hot bike... will be keeping my eyes open for it.
What demographic would that be? I will have you a race with my slim S this summer.
I'm 38 and pretty new to Harley. I've only had my fxdc for a year and before that I was on an r6... Sounds like a plan on the race. I def want to hit up a drag strip with it... I rode the slim s in the fall and its a cool bike!
