Edit: Didn't see the ETIMS activation comment. I've not experienced that, and as far as I know, ETIMS isn't active by default. I thought it had to be enabled manually?[/QUOTE]
Check out page 111 of the manual. Enabling/Disabling EITMS: All except FXDLS
Am I reading into this that the S runs hot with the 110, hence, why EITMS is enabled on the S? The shut down I experienced was loud shuttering. The violent shut down surprised me, to be honest...

Yep, I saw that, and all I saw was how the owner can enable/disable it without accessing the ECM (by dealer or PV, or whatever) - but I didn't see anywhere that it said it was enabled by default. I'll have to check mine out to see what state it is in (enabled or disabled) as I haven't changed it.
My brakes are spongy as well, almost didn't purchase the bike they were so bad. I didn't buy a Fatbob last year as its dual setup was lousy as well. After 300 miles they have gotten slightly better, plan on switching to braided lines at the first service. Any part numbers would be appreciated?
Bike doesn't feel hot yet, but the front head pipe is already blue. I thought I read the cylinder shut off was set as ON for 110s as a default? Exhaust and tune to come after first service as well.
Anybody know what exhaust is available? I see the Bassani and Supertrapp. What about slip ons? I want a D&D, but not available yet. Vance and Hines says they have nothing yet. I figure something must fit. Thanks.
I would think any slip on the would fit Fat Bobs would work, unless I'm missing something. Or, any full system that would fit a low rider. They don't use different header pipes for 110" do they?
Can't you disable/enable the EITMS by rolling the throttle forward for 3-5 seconds? That's how it worked on my baggers...
Yes, theres a similar procedure.

Just can't stand the lawn mower sound. haha
I would really recommend a full system vs. slip ons. With slip ons you leave the cat in place. All you are getting is sound. A good system will give you a cooler leg and better performance.
