I traded in my '13 Fatbob in today on a new Low Rider S. The ABS and 110 motor is what convinced me. I got it for MSRP and they gave me $1000 more for my trade than Kelly Blue Book recommended. All I can say about the test ride is that the motor is STRONG. I didn't ride it home though because it started raining sideways and new tires + wet roads don't mix. I will pick it up tomorrow. Pics to follow.
As a previous owner of a XLCR, what you all think of changing the rear fender for a FXDF style fender to give it more of a XLCR tail? I would assume it will fit, have an unpainted one in the attic.
Finally rode it with the new exhaust. Much better but getting a little popping on decel. Dealer said there is no stage 1 download for it-already has it?
What's my least expensive, easiest tuner to tune it? Don't need it for long term just to tune for the exhaust and air cleaner change and shelf it? Was looking at Fuel pak but dealer said don't waste my money.

Thoughts?
Dealers say a lot of things. I don't hold them I high regard for technical info most of the time, but there are some good ones.
Wouldn't a tuner with an auto tune feature be the best in this case? Something like a FP3?

I wonder if ported heads from a 103 would work on the 110 and have any benefit?
A P/P Head will do much better then a non ported/polished Head. Don't think the 103 heads will work on a 110" motor.
I believe some folks have used a 110" head on 103" and even bigger motors then a 110".
The 110" heads are great. A P/P 110" head is Awesome!
On a different subject.
It's funny as before these 110" Bolt On kits were available, many folks on these forums (more so in the Touring section) would say that the CVO with 110" motors were a "joke", or "their bike would smoke a 110" motor".
These lighter Dynas with a beefed up motor has gotta be a blast to ride!
All I can say, "There's NO replacement for Displacement!"
Some mods done.
Street slammer bars, Le Pera daddy long leg seat, Bassani exhaust, lower profile cleaner, fwd controls, swing arm bag, burst grips, & black diamond gas cap and fuel gauge, and changed out the gloss primary cover.
waiting on a bigger fairing
Very curious about that air cleaner. Not a big fan of the heavy breather, but I also don't want to restrict it at all. That A/C is a standard touring version for TBW? Do you happen to have the PN you used? Much better looking then the snout I currently have. Though my real preference would be something I can put a football or other cover over so I don't have to run out and put a sock over if it starts raining. Wondering if any TBW high flow air cleaner will work well enough also.
