I'm planning on picking up a set of leatherpros fxdxt bags. I know I'm gonna have to relocate the rear signals, but I'm really not into the signals sticking off the license plate. I looked at the custom dynamics light but I'm not sure how visible the signals will be with a integrated light. Am I missing any other options? It's for my street bob. Thanks.
A few recent threads on this. There is the integrated brake light option that you have not mentioned. I've also seen people use the generic sport bike flush signals and install them near the back of the fender (would required a small drill to have wires run through fender).
Another option if you are decent with electronics is fabricate a set from LED strips and paste them anywhere u like. U could even have them on your bags if they are fixed. I'd consider that if I had hard bags. I've done custom lights on sport bikes before with LED strips.
Do you plan to use these lights as only turns or are you gonna use them as tail, turn, stop? Do you plan to keep the bags on 100% of the time or come and go as needed?
I probably won't run the bags all of the time. I've never had bags before but those leatherpros look good to me and they'd be nice for riding to work. I like the integrated brake light with built in turn signals but from the pictures that I've seen its hard to see the signals. I'll check out the others mentioned thanks.

I'm having the same dilemma as you OP and leaning towards the Great Bike Gear Relocation Kit over an integrated taillight just because the turn signals are hard to see on them especially when on the brakes. Cagers are dumb enough I'd hate to confuse them more.
