really...well i know at my dealership we arent allowed to give discounts on any downloads due to the fact that they come strait through harley....but it may be different in other places...thats jsut how ive always understood it.
going to change my air filter and the the download..my question, which one ? screaming eagle ? or ? stealer tells me the download is 145.00..seems kinda hi,but i guess this is a set price by all dealer ? sorry to ask so many question latley.i always like input before i buy.many of you guys really know your stuff.i admit,i do not. i think any air cleaner setup will be very easy for even me to do ? right ?
Voyager, this is the best deal I've seen yet for the round style aftermarket air filters.
See, the deal is, that screaming eagle filter element is a pile of crap. You'll be wanting to replace it in no time. This way, you'll already have a good quality filter, rather than having to go out later, and spend another 30-60 bucks for a filter element that is worth a damn.
no not joking you might be able to make a dollor when they write your bike up if they dont total it you know why give the dealer 3 clams for a arm when you got a new 1 for 50?
IMHO the AN BS is the way to go. I believe it is a better design, especially on the breather, than the SE (I have both)in countering any oil misting problems. plus you can get the chrome backing plate on the BS which is even better. Eastern Performance is probably the best place to buy for the price and shipping.
I have to agree, I have the AR BS II with the chrome backplate and I am extremely happy with it, no more rubber "hoky" hose set up from HD... A real solid improvement.
