going to change my air filter and the the download..my question, which one ? screaming eagle ? or ? stealer tells me the download is 145.00..seems kinda hi,but i guess this is a set price by all dealer ? sorry to ask so many question latley.i always like input before i buy.many of you guys really know your stuff.i admit,i do not. i think any air cleaner setup will be very easy for even me to do ? right ?
Changing the Air cleaner is about a 15 minute job very easy to do. And the 145 is about right for the download. The problem I have found out is that the download is not actually for the SE AC but for the 1550(95") upgrade. I understand it has worked well for some and not great for others.
Steve, why are you getting the download? Is your bike running rough? I have the same setup as you will, SEII's and highflow, amost 9000 miles on my Lowrider and the bike runs great. Tim
The Ness Big Sucker from Eastern Performance is hard to beat. They have themfor $99.95 with free shipping. I had mine in 3-4 days. 18-505 is the one you'd want.
sounds good. wild as i called 3 dealers.and 3 opinions.. one says you can no longer ever get the downloads...another says if you cange more than the air cleaner (like i have with pipes),the download will not work. third dealer where i bought the bike tells me yes.download will take care of it and cost is 145.00 . one dealer was only 45.00 for the download but that one told me it would not work if i have changed pipes and air filter both. hard to belive a different opinion from every dealer,LOl.
this is why i listen to you guys, dang stealers !!!
one more question.if i ever get a wild hair and go back to stock pipes for long trip or etc.. will the new download still be ok.i am dazed and confused i guess.sorry.
