I also didn't see anywhere in anything that I've watched or read about HD recommending any type of oil cooler system to be paired with the 110/117 bolt ons either..
cooling barely seems to show up in most folks critical paths. odd. i refuse to run my without a cooler, it gets too hot.
Didn't need to type a write up or extensive expose on the 117" kit as it has been discussed in another posts previously. Maybe next time you try to earn yourself a gold star on a Forum by starting a thread about something, you may want to run a search on that subject first before you post your revelations about a product that everybody but you knows about.
A CVOHarley forum member with a CVO Softail Breakout just did his 117" Drop -in kit.
STD NO# 118HP/131TQ. With a really nice curve! Not too bad considering a "B" motor. SE 259 cams, no port, just the kit!
There about 5-8 folks with CVOs that are getting them installed or about to pull the plug.
On another note, I just saw a dyno at one of my local dealers, CVO touring rig, RIVAS cams, Fullsac X-pipe, TTS Turner.
Just a 110" motor. SAE No# 116HP/128TQ. Again a really nice curve too!
Cheers!
YB
Hey YellowBird !
Thanks for the drop by.. those are some pretty impressive numbers for a drop in system.. .. don't care how its sliced.. if possible throw us a link to those dyno sheets.. would like to see when all of that TQ.. 'comes in' on the chart.. and what the HP rise on the graph also looks like.. wonder what size RIVAS cams he used.. (not very familiar with them at all really and Ive never researched them yet either..) I've always been kinda partial to Woods grinds esp. the gear drive series... well looks like Ive got some homework !

Thanks again YB!
Frank,
Here's the Dyno sheet for the boy with the CVO Breakout.
I don't have the sheet for the stock 110" with the RIVAS Cams. IIRC, it came on strong around 2200 rpm.
I started the 117" Drop-in thread on the CVO board. If and when, I get more info I will post on your tread. If you like.
