Or take the lowering blocks off. Part of the problem solved
I agree with above. To see if the bike is scraping look for evidence of scraping. More than likely it is the shock bottoming out. The stock ones are mushy
Well, I am keeping my eyes open for a set of 11" progressives. Really worried I'll get a new set and I'll bottom out and be stuck with $250 paper weights. I'd like to use the blocks if I could for the look. I also think based on the size of the blocks think these might be more than 1" lowering blocks (they came with the bike). I was gonna do a little geometry and see if I couldn't figure out how much they would drop it based on the amount of distance they move the shock back. The stockers don't bother me as far as ride goes - I haven't tried the progressives, but I am not sure how my opinion of rough ride compares to others. I'm used to ripping it up on my 82 KZ 550 with original shocks and dirt bikes.

I am 6' and tip the scale at 240. Not a light weight by any stretch of the imagination.
I have never bottomed out with the stock shocks. In fact, once in awhile, I ride two up. My GF is about 120. I know i am overloading the bike, but unless I hit a big dip or a hole, no bottoming out. The Fat Bob has to be one of the lowest height bikes around, and it was lowered even more?
