Out here in Socal people are really starting to bitch about loud exhaust systems. Every month or two some onewrites the local paper asking why their city's police dpt isnt doing anything about those noisy Harleys that are always roaring past their house. Read one yesterday, guy was complaining about a couple of Harleys riding past his house every morning at the same time and why in tarnation arent the cops doing anything about it. Well the cops are actualy doing something about it. Several cities are setting up regular traffic stops to check for exhaust systems that have been tampered with and writing tickets. Im sure they would rather be doing something more constructive like going after criminals but its probably a political thing, if they get enough complaints they have to do something. Makes it a bitchfor those of us who are running slippons or baffled full systems because the ticket is going to be the same as the guy running straight pipes. Maybe limited so Socal now, butIthink eventualy it will spread. It is already spreading here. There are certain areas that you have to avoid riding through becuase they arepulling people over and handing out tickets for non stock exhuast and unfortunately the number of these areas keeps increasing.

I run the Python staggered duals. They are plenty loud even with the baffles in. Nice low rumble til you twist the wick.

Set off many a car alarm.

Vance and Hines straight shots! You can remove the baffles and kill certain dogs, or you can put them in and still set off alarms!!

V&H SHORT shots. I have them on my Dynaand they're louder than anybody else I've been riding with. You really have to watch the throttle when the fuzz is in view.

I run a set of modified cycle shack 2 " staggered drag pipes on my stroker wide glide and here in Illinois, the cops just give you a friendly wave. lol So I guess it depends where you are at as to how the law will come down on you for the loud pipes. We dont have the bumper to bumper traffic or the constant suburbs to drive through, out here in cornfield country we just get on the open road crack that throttle and let em rumble.
